Immaculate Touch offers the revolutionary Plasma Eye Lift and skin tightening from our clinics in East Malling, Kent.
Before now, eyelift surgery (otherwise known as Blepharoplasty) has been the most effective method of improving the appearance of heavy eyelids, hooded eyelids, and tired, puffy eyes.
Blepharoplasty is still the ultimate treatment for eye lift surgery, but for the patients not wanting to go under the knife, there is a now a new system known as Plasma skin tightening that is fast becoming the most craved for a non-surgical option.
Plasma Skin tightening, often referred to as fibroblast, uses a new ‘plasma technology’ which works by using your own plasma to stimulate an instant contraction and tightening of the skin.
Being that this is a non-surgical procedure, there is no cutting or stitching or the need for any general anaesthetic, which in turn means less downtime.
What is Plasma Skin Tightening?
Plasma technology is used to modify the skin by turning the surface into gas. The device generates heat which cauterises the outermost part of the epidermis without damaging the surrounding areas of skin or deeper structures.
Tiny micro plasma dots are directed around the area of concern in a grid-like fashion. The device then causes a carbon crust to form on the surface of the skin.
This non-surgical procedure is also an amazing alternative because it gives the opportunity for the practitioner to communicate with the patient, asking them to open and close their eyes during the eye lift procedure.
What happens after the plasma eye lift procedure?
Immediately after your plasma eye lift procedure, the treated area will be quite red and slightly swollen. The swelling usually subsides after 3 days while the redness can last for up to 7 days. At the site of each microdot, a carbon crust will form. These crusts are to be left to come away on their own which usually takes between 5 to 14 days; in some cases this can be longer. Balms are given to you after your treatment to keep the area soothes during the healing period.
How Quickly Can Results Be Seen?
Noticeable results can be seen after the first treatment, which continues to improve over the following 2-4 weeks.
Patients may require more than one treatment on the area in question, we base this on the patient’s expectations and the opinion of our team.
How long will the results of the Plasma eye lift procedure last?
Results will typically last for the same amount of time as blepharoplasty surgery. in other words, they are permanent.
We can turn back time but remember…. the clock is still ticking.
