With Christmas now a distant memory and the start of the New Year bringing with it all its resolutions, we thought we’d take this opportunity to give you a brief overview of some of the most popular beauty treatments currently on offer at our clinic.
As many of our treatments can be used in conjunction with each other for an extra boost, why not kick start your year and go ahead and treat yourself? Beauty treatments can really help boost self-esteem and self-confidence so what better way to start the year?
As you might expect, our most popular semi-permanent makeup treatment is microblade eyebrows but in conjunction with this, we also offer semi-permanent lip liner and eyeliner as separate treatments. This is a great example of different treatments that can be combined into one session, which can save you both time and money as there’s no need to make different appointments on different days.
Another often-overlooked factor that many don’t consider is that certain types of semi-permanent makeup treatments can also be of benefit for certain health conditions. If you visit the link, you’ll see that we regularly treat clients with medical conditions such as alopecia (hair loss) and also those who’d like to try and camouflage their unsightly scars. As a side note (and from a personal perspective), I find these sessions especially rewarding as it’s good to know that my work isn’t just about making people look great for that important night out or dinner date, I’m also helping people regain their lost confidence due to circumstances that are quite often beyond their control due to the hand that life has dealt at that moment in time.
This treatment has quite literally taken the world by storm and really has been one of the most talked-about treatments of 2019. I really love this treatment as it’s a fairly easy procedure and we’ve seen some amazing results at our clinic. The bottom line is, our clients love it! If you take a look at our recent blog post, you’ll see the amazing before and after pics where you can judge the results for yourself.
There are several key reasons why I think Profhilo is so popular. Firstly, you can achieve results similar to that of an actual facelift… but WITHOUT a surgeon’s scalpel anywhere in sight! Unlike having the skin cut and pulled, Profhilo is far less drastic and only involves a series of small injections at various points over the treatment area just below the skin’s surface. It’s also far more subtle as it works in harmony with your own body.
Similar to dermal fillers (scroll down for more on this), Profhilo also contains hyaluronic acid that’s designed to complement your body’s own natural chemistry by restoring and stimulating the hyaluronic acid that’s already present within you. Not only that, it also helps with the production of more collagen and elastin, all of which help to keep your skin looking fuller and plumper, resulting in a more youthful-looking you.
In summary, it’s relatively pain-free, much cheaper than a facelift and the results are long-lasting. In my opinion, it produces a far more natural appearance then dermal fillers due to the fact it is liquid gold for the skin, and being that’s it’s not a filler, it’s far less daunting for the newbies to the world of aesthetic treatments. REMEMBER… This will not create volume, only feed the skin with all it needs to be smooth plump and more refined.

Million Dollar Facial
This is still a relatively new procedure which incorporates a number of techniques all combined into one convenient treatment. It’s difficult to cram a complete description of all the benefits into this short blog post so I’ll try and summarise what the treatment involves together with some of the main benefits.
I often like to describe it as ” working your skin from the outside in”. Although far more in-depth than described here, it’s essentially a three-step process:
- We perform a deep exfoliation of your skin cells.
- We remove that annoying ‘peach fuzz’ that most of us ladies have to deal with.
- We polish your skin to flush out any toxins using Dermaplaning and micro-needling.
These three steps, when combined, produce amazing results. The procedure increases the hydration level of your skin, which helps it to absorb creams more effectively. Your body should also be stimulated into producing more collagen and the treatment will also thicken the epidermis layer to reduce the appearance of broken capillaries.
If you’d like to get the full story of why this procedure is still creating a buzz in the beauty world, have a read of our Million Dollar Facial treatment page to find out more details of the process from start to finish.
Since I mentioned dermal fillers earlier, here’s a brief summary of why this particular treatment is still incredibly popular at our clinic. Dermal fillers (aka ” hyaluronic acid fillers”) are injected under the skin’s surface and are ideal for smoothing out wrinkles in the skin and replacing lost structure in the face due to the natural ageing process. They’re commonly applied around the nose and mouth to fill in those unwanted creases and folds (often referred to as ‘bracket lines’). They’re also used to create volume in the cheeks and are great for sculpting your cheekbones or filling out your lips. If you’ve already heard about dermal fillers and have seen the results in others, you’ll understand why this tried and tested treatment is still as popular as ever. See our dermal fillers treatment page for more information.
Again, this is still a firm favourite with our clients and it does exactly what it says on the tin, so to speak. As the title suggests, anti-wrinkle injections are designed to relax your muscles and smooth the creases that are causing the wrinkles in the first place. You may have come across the fancy name of botulinum toxin injections although personally, I prefer ‘anti-wrinkle’ as it’s simpler and self-explanatory! The most common areas for this type of treatment are in the forehead/frown area and around the eyes. We do however offer more advanced treatments for example to stop underarm sweating otherwise known as Hypohydrosis using botulinum.
If this is something that you’re tempted to consider now the New Year has begun, you can get the full details here.
Plasma skin tightening
Aside from microblading, plasma skin tightening was actually one of the original treatments we offered when our clinic first opened many moons ago… and it’s still one of my favourites. Sometimes called ‘Fibroblast’ it uses plasma technology to stimulate an instant contraction and tightening of the skin. It’s another one of our non-surgical procedures, meaning there’s absolutely no cutting or stitching involved. Amongst other things, this versatile treatment can be used for tattoo removal, glabellar lines, crow’s feet, scar reduction and thread vein removal.
Whilst some of our treatments are quite specific in nature, plasma skin tightening has stood the test of time because of the broad variety of scenarios it can be used with, including the ever-popular non-surgical eye lift that so many clients flock to us for. If you’d like to get the full picture of what’s involved and why plasma skin tightening may be the right treatment for you, click here for more details.
I hope we’ve given you a small taste of what’s on offer at our luxury private Kent clinic but, as always, if there’s anything we’ve missed or there’s simply something you’d like a few more details about, either take a look at our complete range of treatments or get in touch to get your questions answered. Either way, I look forward to hearing how I can help with creating the ‘New You’ of 2020!
